Flowers have been an intrinsic part of my life and identity for almost twenty years. Ephemeral by nature, flowers nevertheless create lasting memories for some of the most important days of our lives.

Growing and using flowers and botanical material as a medium brings great joy- from nurturing seeds to harvesting the blooms, using every element of the plant from the roots to the soil they grow in, discovering treasure in the forest and incorporating every natural element from rocks to birds wings.

As a farmer-florist and visual artist I undertake a small number of special seasonal weddings every season and work closely with clients on creative events and botanical installations.

The botanicals I use will always be seasonal, ethical and if not grown by me, sourced as locally as I possibly can from likeminded artisan growers. Integrity and origin is fundamental to what I offer at Sylva.
